Make wise decisions as to who, when, where you choose to meet for sale/transfers. Makes you wonder, how many of us have made a sale to somebody that we don't know? I personaly have made several(4) sales within the past month to "strangers".Stay aware of your surroundings. Stay safe.

| Yeah, I hear you on that one.I thought the same thing, there had to be some extenuating circumstances involved, for there to be a sale at 5:30 in the a.m. But you never know.... A little over a week ago I had a "buyer" for an SKS I was selling want to meet up at a gas station. When I pulled in there was a car with two people in it, on the side of the store we were supposed to meet. As I got out of my truck, it was clear that I was wearing a sidearm, very visible. The car I assumed was the buyer left as soon as he saw me, and was followed out of the parking lot by a 2nd car parked by a gas pump with two other guys. Buyer "never" showed up. How many times have people been robbed off of Craig's list?You can never be too careful |

It's all about common sense, if you don't like the location and time being proposed make another suggestion that puts you around a lot of witnesses. If you meet resistance to your suggestion bail out, or at the very least take someone with you as back-up.
I've done several deals over the past year, 2 guys brought someone with them which made me wish I had done the same. Fortunately I only meet people in well populated parking lots in busy areas (a local Walmart works well for me), and do the deals as discreetly as possible. |

| It will be interesting when more facts are released about that shooting. Didn't like the fact that in the last week, two shootings happened in my part of the Valley....43rd and Dunlap and 51st Ave & Cactus...that's less than a mile from my cave.....it sounds like drug deal gone bad... |

Triple T, Sounds like were neighbors. Yeah there have been a few "not-so-random" shootings in the area lately.

Again.. that is such a generous offer. I dont think therre is anything wrong with having someone accompany someone else for safety. I also do not see a problem with saying you would do so?
But then again.. I dont understand how little some can understand with their narrow perspectives are lol.
